What founder IP actually is
A body of thinking that attaches to a person rather than to a company. Two or three arguments they are known for, made in public often enough that other people repeat them, with the founder credited as the source.
It has a property most marketing assets lack, which is that it survives. A brand account is worth nothing the day the company changes name.
A founder who has spent two years being the person with the clearest view of one specific problem carries that into the next round, the next hire and the next company. It is the only distribution asset that belongs to a human being.
It is also why this compounds where a campaign does not. Each argument made in public makes the next one easier to place, because the audience arrives already knowing what you think.
