Results and expectations

Isn't a viral spike just vanity if it doesn't convert?

Reach without conversion is vanity. Every launch we run is engineered backwards from the inbox.

We track which creators drove qualified inbound, route comments to your team, and brief follow-up DMs. Our clients see inbound come in directly off launch content.

What results should we realistically expect?

We guarantee nothing, and we publish what every launch did. Across every AI launch on X we track, the median post does 690K views and the top quarter starts at 1.8M.

Client launches sit at the top of that range. TypeSafe AI did 40M views from a 1,500-follower account, Tavus 21.1M from 11,500, and client launches total 200M+ views.

Beyond views, a launch produces inbound: two weeks after Codos launched, the founder reported many VCs and many, many customers. Each case study shows the follower growth and the inbound behind the number.

How long does the bump last? Is it just a spike?

Impressions peak within the first 48 hours, then taper. The mindshare doesn't.

Your buyers saw your product on five accounts they trust in the same day, and that fills the pipeline for weeks after. It's why most clients move to an always-on cadence after the first launch.

Getting started

Our accounts barely have followers. Does this work from zero?

It works fastest from zero. Debuts launched TypeSafe AI out of stealth in September 2026 from a founder account with 1,500 followers and a company account with 200. The launch post did 40M views, the founder's account went to 154,182 and the company's to 163,464.

That case study is here. Earlier, a founder came to us with 20 followers and one amplified article did 1.1M views.

The network supplies the first hour, the ranker reads the early engagement and extends it, and every drop after starts from a warmer base. TypeSafe accepted more than 150,000 waitlist signups in the first 24 hours, and Sequoia's Pat Grady says Jev went from zero to $100 million in revenue in its first seven days.

What if we don't have a launch video?

Articles work. A context-rich article covering the product, the numbers and the roadmap gets amplified the same way as a video drop, and one founder-led launch ran on an article alone and did 1.1M views.

When you do want a film we run production through partners we have trialled on real launches; TypeSafe AI's three-minute launch video was made by Mark Vassilevskiy at Skale. Videos over two minutes do twice the median of videos under thirty seconds, so the brief is usually longer than founders expect.

How fast can a launch go live?

Kickoff within 24 hours of signing. Most launches go live three to five days later, and a larger brief can take ten or more.

When a date is fixed we can turn a launch around in 48 hours. Initial impressions land within the first few hours of the drop, and performance reports inside 48-72 hours.

How we operate

Who runs the founder's account?

You do. Tone and legal exposure belong in-house, so the founder's voice stays the founder's. Our side is founder content: we clip and distribute podcast moments, takes, and vision across the network as evergreen posts, each briefed to the creator carrying it.

How do you select creators?

Every creator is vetted on median virality rather than on averages. We look at typical post performance, audience overlap with your buyer profile, and engagement authenticity. You see a shortlist before a launch goes live, so you know the type of founders, engineers and creators carrying it.

Do creators disclose that a post is paid?

Yes, every time. Every creator post we place carries X's paid partnership label. That is an FTC requirement for any post where a brand has paid or given something of value, and it is X's own rule for sponsored content.

There are no exceptions on a Debuts launch. An agency that skips the label is breaking both, and the exposure lands on the brand and the creator. What the label costs, and what skipping it costs more.

How do you handle competitive conflicts?

We enforce category exclusivity windows. Creators in your launch are restricted from working with direct competitors within a defined period around your drop.

The data

How do you measure a launch?

Every AI launch on X we can find goes into the launch directory, with the views, likes, reposts, replies, bookmarks and the posting account's follower count read from X, and its own page.

A launch we run is graded against that: where it ranks, how far it travelled past the account's following, and how many people saved or reposted it against the directory medians.

Reach is what the ranker controls. Saves and reposts are what people control, and on a considered purchase they are the numbers that turn into pipeline.

How many views is viral?

There is no platform-wide number, which is why every agency can claim it. Measured across every AI launch on X we track, 1.8M views puts a launch in the top quarter and the median launch does about 690K. The odds at each threshold are here.

Can we see the numbers behind your claims?

Yes, all of them. Each case study links to the launch page for the post it describes, and the quarterly report publishes the findings across the whole directory with a citable anchor per finding: who earns reach, what video length does, which day of the week, what repeat launchers earn. A client can check us against the field before signing and after delivery.

Is our launch in the directory?

If it was a public post on X from a company or founder account announcing a product, a feature or a round, with media attached, it should be.

The directory is collected daily by search and by hand and does not claim to be complete, so if yours is missing, email hello@debuts.io with the link and it will be read in.

Fit and positioning

Why not traditional channels?

X is where the AI and tech conversation happens. VCs, founders, and operators live on Premium and check it daily. LinkedIn rewards corporate posts.

TikTok reaches a younger consumer audience. If your buyer reads The Information and replies to Sam Altman threads, they're on X.

What kind of companies do you work with?

AI companies, technology companies, and consumer brands with a tech-forward audience. If your buyers are on X in the AI and tech conversation, we're a fit.

Do you work with companies coming out of stealth?

Yes, and it is the launch we are best at, because the first public post has to carry everything at once. TypeSafe AI went from two years of stealth to the largest launch we have run, from a founder account of 1,500 followers. How to make the first post carry the work is here, and the case study is here.

Do you work with YC companies?

Yes. Every launch from a stated YC batch is in the directory, and the honest reading is that they sit well under the median because they launch from small accounts, which is the problem the network exists to solve. How we would launch a YC company works through it with the YC account's own numbers.

What is trusted distribution?

Reach that arrives through people your buyers already trust: the founders, engineers and creators they chose to follow, and in time your own company name. It comes from brand, and every launch carried this way makes the next one travel further, which is how it becomes a network effect. The full explanation.

What separates Debuts from traditional influencer agencies?

We're creators ourselves. We've been building audiences in this space since 2023. Creators write their own copy from our brief, and every paid post carries X's paid partnership label.

What makes Debuts hard to copy?

Three things that take time to build: the data, the network and the reach.

The data is the launch directory, more than 1,800 launches on X measured and re-read daily, so every plan starts from what launches like yours actually did. The network is more than 1,000 creators with over 25 million combined followers, and every launch adds relationships and results that make the next match better.

The reach is being able to put a launch in front of the people who decide, inside one window, on a date you choose. Most launches go live three to five days after signing.

Question not answered?

We will map the launch window, shortlist the creators who match your buyer profile, and show you the reach math before you commit to anything.
