Questions we get asked
Who are the tech influencers on X?
Four types: founders and operators in or near your category, engineers and builders who test what ships, AI research and model accounts the field reads, and tech generalists the whole space follows. Each reaches a different slice of the technical buyer.
How do you find tech influencers for a B2B launch?
Start from the buyer, find the accounts whose replies are full of that buyer, then check median post performance across the last thirty posts, posting history around launches, and past disclosure. Follower count comes last, because it predicts almost nothing.
How much do tech influencers charge?
From a few hundred dollars for a mid-sized builder account to five figures for the largest generalists, with the rate following median performance rather than follower count. Usage rights and disclosure terms matter as much as the number.
Do tech influencers have to disclose paid posts?
Yes. Every compensated post carries X's paid partnership label. It is an FTC requirement and X's own rule, and the exposure for skipping it lands on the brand as well as the creator.
Does Debuts work with tech influencers?
Debuts casts a launch across founders, engineers, research accounts and generalists from a vetted network, briefs each one, times how they engage, and reports the result post by post against the launch directory.
